Tony Robbins is great. I’ve read and listened to his audiobooks. I’ve watched him on Youtube. Nearly everyone has. Here’s what I love about him so you know I am not meaning to disrespect this enormously effective speaker and coach.
His voice. It’s both a whisper and a bellow. How can you not receive subconscious success healing from a man who is hypnotizing you on positivity with his whisper shouts? I believe his voice is the leading factor in his rise to fame, just above his words and message.
We all have a sound and our message is the song. It’s an energy signature and even when you change, you still have a “quality” that is uniquely you. Tony Robbins has a very strong energy signature.
I listened to an audio book of his and was disappointed when it was read by someone else. Tony did the intro, which was the most listenable part of the entire book. Once he left the book, I kept listening, but it would’ve been much better if he read it himself.
Now turn your attention over here.
There are others in the life coaching space besides Tony Robbins. Whenever I read someone quoting Tony Robbins, it had better be in the context of talking about “The Greats”. If you just have a single quote in your article referencing Tony Robbins, it’s a red flag for me that you’re a beginner “mindset guru”.
I don’t want your advice, ok? Sorry, but I am burned out on advice. If I don’t pick up advanced material and flow from your post then I try to find at least one thing to like about it, but it takes me work.
I’d rather read your post and feel like I have left more intelligent or inspired afterward. Like it took me to a new level. I don’t want to have to rely on my own positivity mindset training to undo the void your article left me with.
Go on Youtube and search “self help guru”. I’m curious if the results in your feed is a list of videos about toxic guru culture. That’s what my results are.
I do believe we need spiritual role models though.
We benefit from listening to people who are adept at using language to enlighten and empower us to think better about ourselves and the world around us.
So, with that, let me offer you some additional motivational speakers you can quote. This is a list of some of my favorite mindset coaches, law of attraction people, life coaches, and what have you.
Some of these names and their work might be familiar to you and if so, hopefully some will still be brand new to you. This is not a list of obscure names where I try to impress you with my deep reading.
I want you to leave this post feeling that you have opened a new mental gateway.
Also, this list is not in order of importance/relevance and the links following take you to either Youtube or Amazon, so you can explore their work.
